With the winter holidays over, the next big things coming to Alexandria are two restaurant weeks. Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week will feature six Alexandria restaurants from January 13 to 19, 2020, while Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week will showcase 70 restaurants from January 17 to 26. According to, "Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week allows diners to try top restaurants around the city for a special price. Around 70 restaurants will offer a $35 three-course dinner for one or $35 dinner for two. Lunch menus for $15 or $22 per person will be available at 35 restaurants, and over a dozen restaurants will have $15 or $22 per person brunch menus." As per, "Restaurants cover different areas of the city, from Old Town and Del Ray to Carlyle and Eisenhower and the West End. New this year are Augie's Mussel House & Beer Garden, The Study at Morrison House, Rus Uz, and Mai Thai."
